Road2Wellness is a Behavioral Health Practice centered around nutrition, sleep hygiene, physical activity, social & intellectual connection and inner-peace.  Through evidence-based practices, we focus on how balance in these areas can foster growth, connection, and ultimately, meaningful change.

Our Mission

Our mission is to create a more positive perception of mental health therapy. We strive to do this by offering a variety of treatment modalities. Through education, support, workshops and traditional therapy, we hope to provide a range of therapeutic opportunities to fit our client's mental health needs. At Road2Wellness, we meet people where they are in their path of life and work alongside them. Our holistic approach and modality options combined with nurturing professionals will help to decrease the stigma of therapy.

What type of therapists are we?

We pride ourselves on being compassionate, authentic, humorous and honest in the therapy room. Someone you can feel comfortable with and someone you know is being real with you.

Let's be honest, if you can't be real with your therapist, who can you be real with?

In my therapeutic practice, I am deeply committed to empowering individuals to discover their own voices, cultivate self-confidence, and foster meaningful connections with themselves and those around them. My approach is rooted in collaboration and authenticity, ensuring that each person feels respected and supported throughout their journey. Rather than imposing solutions, I aim to challenge you in ways that align with your unique pace and emotional readiness. By integrating evidence-based techniques and trauma-informed care, I create a safe space where you can navigate your experiences and ultimately learn to help yourself. Together, we will work towards unlocking the potential within you for richer relationships and personal growth.

As an experienced clinical therapist, I have dedicated my career to supporting a variety of individuals aged 18 and up in their mental health journeys. My passion lies in helping others discover their strength and resilience through evidence-based practices. I firmly believe in the inherent capacity of the human spirit to overcome challenges and thrive. By embracing a strengths-based approach, I aim to foster an environment where you can engage in meaningful reflection and develop greater self-awareness. My goal is to empower you to navigate life's obstacles with hope and confidence, providing the tools necessary to enhance your overall mental well-being. Together, we can work towards your personal growth and healing, enabling you to embrace a brighter future.

As a therapist, I am dedicated to supporting individuals in their journey toward emotional well-being and personal empowerment. My primary focus is to help clients manage stress, enhance their self-esteem, and develop strong interpersonal skills. Through insightful conversations and targeted problem-solving, I guide them in gaining a deeper understanding of themselves and their challenges. In my individual and group therapy sessions, I incorporate expressive arts as a powerful tool for healing. This creative process not only fosters emotional growth but also allows clients to explore their feelings and experiences in a safe environment. By engaging in artistic expression, individuals can unlock new perspectives, build confidence, and develop healthier coping mechanisms. Ultimately, my goal is to empower clients to take charge of their own lives and cultivate a positive outlook for the future.

For the past 18 years, I’ve had the privilege of working as a middle school counselor, supporting young people as they navigate the challenges of growing up—discovering who they are, managing emotions, and building meaningful relationships. Those years have taught me the power of listening, empathy, and guiding others toward their own strengths. While I have a deep connection with adolescents, I also work with adults, creating a safe, welcoming space where anyone can feel heard and understood. I take a strength-based, trauma-informed approach and rely on strong communication skills to help clients build resilience, improve mental health, and foster social-emotional growth.

Every day, I focus on helping clients uncover their own strengths, overcome challenges, and develop confidence in themselves. Whether addressing life transitions, everyday stressors, or crises, I partner with clients in a compassionate, collaborative way to promote holistic well-being. At Road2Wellness, my goal is to support each person in creating balance, healthier connections, and a foundation for lasting growth.

With over 15 years of experience as a clinical therapist, I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and build inner resilience. Throughout my career, I have worked with both children and adults who have experienced trauma, supporting them in their journey toward healing, growth, and empowerment. I hold a degree in Geriatric Social Work and am currently pursuing my CAADC (Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor) certification. My practice is person-centered and rooted in a deep respect for the holistic healing process—honoring each person’s emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual needs. I strive to create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. I foster empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard as the foundation for self-healing and personal transformation. My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths-Based perspectives, and Ecological Systems Therapy, emphasizing that healing occurs within the context of a person’s relationships—with their environment, family, community, culture, and society.

Counseling Intern

I am a counselor-in-training currently pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Central Michigan University. With a background in education, I bring several years of experience as a teacher, where I developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges adolescents and their families face. My transition into the counseling field is driven by a passion for providing meaningful support, fostering emotional well-being, and walking alongside individuals on their mental health journeys. My experience in the classroom has equipped me with strong communication skills, empathy, and a trauma-informed perspective—qualities that continue to guide my development as a counselor. I am committed to ongoing learning and professional growth, and I am grateful to be working closely with my supervisor to refine my skills and ensure I am providing compassionate, client-centered care. As I move forward in my training, my goal is to be a supportive and effective counselor who meets clients where they are and empowers them toward healing and growth.

When life feels overwhelming due to trauma, stress, or major transitions, it can seem like everything is unraveling. I’m passionate about helping children (ages 10+), adults, and families find healing, renewed confidence, and the strength to move forward. I use a person-centered foundation to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, valued, and understood. From there, I tailor therapy to your unique needs using approaches such as Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused, Strength-Based, and Culturally Sensitive practices.

Together, we’ll build healthy coping skills, shift unhelpful patterns, and create a personalized plan that empowers you to not just get through life — but truly thrive. Virtual-only sessions are available to meet your schedule.
